Our Team
Jenna Moore
Jenna Moore is the Director of the OKC Food Hub and has been working in local food systems for over a decade. She has a background in Public Health which she utilized to implement gardening programs in New Orleans and conduct research and evaluation for the ONIE Project in Oklahoma. She has since co-founded the online Paseo Farmers Market, Flora Bodega Cooperative Grocery store, and the OKC Food Hub. Her passions for growing food, building relationships, and thinking outside the box to change the system fuel her ongoing pursuit of making it easier for farmers to sustainably feed their communities.
Rachel Kretchmar
Rachel Kretchmar is a CPA, and prior to joining the Food Hub, she was a financial statement auditor, primarily working with non-profit organizations in the OKC area. Rachel is passionate about food justice and sustainable agriculture and her financial background has been a tremendous asset to local food system development. She is thrilled to be a part of the OKC Food Hub as it continues to open new doors for both producers and consumers in our local food system.
Katherine Whalen
Katherine’s background is in education and non-profits, but after spending a season farming in Virginia in 2018 she couldn’t go back to the classroom. She has been farming/working in local food systems since. She knows firsthand how hard farming is, and she is committed to supporting local farmers. She is also driven by a firm belief that healthy food is a human right, and that together we can create a better local food system. She is motivated to expand access to fresh, healthy food in Oklahoma.
Renaldo Lemons
Renaldo Lemons first started getting into local food systems work in 2020 when he joined an agriculture cooperative group in OKC apprenticing under a no-til farmer. From there he started his own agriculture business, has developed and taught a course in urban agriculture, and is active in networking and advocating for efforts that support local farmers and soil health work. His critical thinking skills, myriad connections and experiences have helped shape the OKC Food Hub.
Taryn DeWitt
Taryn DeWitt has a deep background in food safety and food supply chain from years of working in the produce distribution industry. She is passionate about increasing the amount of local produce moved in Oklahoma, and uses her connections, network, and industry knowledge to connect farmers to buyers and improve food safety programs for small-midsize farmers so that they are more competitive in larger markets.
